Spanish Wines are classified within four tiers, the best of which are recognized by the "Denominacion de Origen" or D.O. Label. There are many D.O regions and wines take their name for these regions. Commonly used grapes are Tempranillo, Granacha, Cabernet Sauvignon, Melbec and Merlot
