French White, Loire Valley

The most common wines here are the Sauvignon Blancs of Sancerre a French AOC in the eastern part of the Loire valley on the left bank of the Loire River. The classic profile of a Sancerre blanc is bone dry, highly aromatic with intense flavors of peaches and gooseberries.
